Dr Woolger is currently offers a three-part training program for Helping Professionals, leading to Certification in Deep Memory Process®. Dr. Woolger recommends to all his trainees supplementary experience and training in the following conventional and alternative disciplines:
clinical psychology, psychotherapy, psychiatry, clinical social work, psychoanalysis (Freudian, Jungian), Psychosynthesis, Reichian therapies (Bioenergetics,Core Energetics, Biosynthesis, Radix), Hakomi, Primal therapy, Holotropic Breathwork (Grof), Rebirthing, Somatic Experiencing, Psychodrama, Gestalt therapy, Transpersonal psychotherapy, energy healing (Brennan, Myss, Bruyere), shamanic therapy (Harner, Ingerman), deep tissue work, structural alignment (Rolf),Network chiropractic and more.
The Training Workshop Modules:
The workshops are highly experiential as well as promoting personal healing and transformation. They combine lectures demonstrations of DMP with participants, group exercises and processing, supervised work in pairs; training includes integration exercises, written materials, the supervision of client cases and essential reading.
Trainees are required to conduct practice sessions with fellow trainees between workshops and to present client cases for supervision upon applying to graduate.
There are three levels of training:
DMP Level 1: Five Day Residential workshops
Foundations of Regression Therapy: Running the Story & Healing in the Afterlife (Bardos)
These may be taught by either Dr. Woolger or by his Trainers, or by an appointed Certified DMP practitioner
(Note: This module may be waived by applicants who have acceptable alternative trainings in Basic Regression Therapy techniques (such as hypnotherapy based past life regression). Nevertheless, applicants seeking this waiver must have also had minimal experience of regression at one of Dr. Woolger’s workshops or from workshops or sessions with certified DMP practitioners.
Topics addressed:
Phase One: regression as realistic psychodrama; working in the “now” of the story; inductions; key phrases; structuring a session; body cues and energy movements; resistance and blocking; dramatic tension; catharsis; symbolic resonance; unfinished business at physical, emotional and mental levels.
Phase Two: Healing in the interlife or bardo; unfinished business with persons on earth; life review; reconciliation and forgiveness; integration of soul-fragments; mediation and use of spirit helpers and guides; animal spirits; ancestors; levels of bardo reality.
Certification in Past Life Regression Therapy is given by Woolger International in the USA upon successful completion of one five day Foundational workshop and evidence of professional experience with regression and presentation of cases studies.
DMP Level 2: Five Day Residential:
The Body Tells the Story: Subtle Body Awareness in Regression
Taught by Dr. Woolger and DMP trainers
Topics addressed:
Body or postural image; letting the body tell its story; typical stories and themes; the three subtle bodies; wounds carried in the etheric body; chronic holding patterns at death; places of stored emotion in the body; strategies for release of body patterns re-imprinted from “past lives”; countering resistance and shut down by talking to the body directly; healing etheric wounds in the bardos; insights from shamanism and Brazilian “spirit” healing.
DMP level 3: Five Day Residential:
Working with Residues of Trauma and Abuse: Dissociation and the Body
Taught by Dr. Woolger and DMP trainers
Topics addressed:
Memory and the body; recognizing clinical “shock”; PTSD and dissociative states; trauma release and catharsis; reactions to sexual and physical abuse, inner child work for present life shut-down, trauma or abuse; chronic pain, torture and horror imprints; collective unconscious bleed-throughs from “past lives”; wounded “spirit” attachments; patterns of denial and chronic shut-down; healing strategies; dialoguing with the body; working with breath and the body; healing soul fragmentation with soul retrieval (bardo encounters).
Certification in Deep Memory Process is given by Woolger International upon successful completion of all three levels of DMP training, sufficient practice and supervision sessions, and the presentation of case studies.
